Grand Master Giambi, Grand Master McCloskey, Master De Los Reyes and Master Bradford and the Houston area Young Brothers Taekwondo schools partnered with Grand Master Young Bo Kong and the 9 Pittsburgh, PA area sister schools to raise $61,604.44 for the recently depleted Houston Food Bank following relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey victims. With the proceeds, the food bank will be able to prepare more than 184,813 nutritious meals.

Grand Master Kong and the Pittsburgh area schools alone raised $51,574.44 in this effort.

Master Erik Gavula (holding check on left) said he and the Pittsburgh area masters (also shown in this photo) were awed by the fact that the local Houston area schools who were in the eye of the Hurricane still came together to raise funds to help out their fellow Houstonians.
